| Skatchou Bottos, a 10-headed collective from Ghent, Belgium, serves ska with no frontiers.
The repertoire hosts influences of jazz, pop, ska, raggae, and soul; a worldshake of styles that strikes.
After a tour through Germany (Berlin & Bremen), the band recorded their first EP in the Galaxy Studios (Belgium) in 2009.
In June 2011 the first full album is expected.
Skatchou Bottos meanwhile played successful shows in the Vooruit (Ghent), Bijloke, N9 club, Petrol club, on the Zomer van Antwerpen,
Mano Mundo, … As soon as the concert begins, the public gets transformed into the inexhaustible ‘Dancing Boots’,
after which it dances the whole night through. After six years of performing, Skatchou Bottos built up a strong live-reputation,
which was already rewarded with several public prices.
